Art-S Home Entertainment is a relatively young company directed by Rob Arts.

Rob Arts started his career in 1984 in the movie entertainment business with RCV, a large independent distributor from the Netherlands in Europe. In 1991 Rob set up his own company called PrimeTime Entertainment. Nevertheless current technological developments made him change the name into

Art-S Home Entertainment, because distributing DVD’s is becoming a growing business of the entertainment industry. Nowadays Art-S Home Entertainment is a medium size independent distributor specialised in documentaries and Art House products.

Art-S Home Entertainment, in collaboration with RenT Home Entertainment, brings also movies such as Henning Mankell, LULU, and BETTY PAGE’s Dark Angel for the Rental market in the Benelux.

Art-S Home Entertainment Special Interest / Documentaries:

This field contains a broad range of documentaries such as videos of Lucy Ball, films on nature, etc. The fact that TELEPOOL in collaboration with UNESCO used to distribute their films through Art-S Home Entertainment says it all !! Special Interest contains great titles such as Dutch Light, The story of Anne Frank, The Story of the Mini, Beyond the Rocks with Rudolph Valentino and Gloria Swanson , the series Mythen & Mysteriën on DVD and the luxe BOX UNESCO : “TREASURES OF THE WORLD”. Asia and Europe Also a broad range of luxury collectors boxes are produced.  For instance the Luxe box containing 6 DVD ’s about Napoleon, John Wayne, The Celtics. and Ancient Discoveries.

Art-S Home Entertainment buys movies that are rarely shown in the big theatres, movies that show beautiful scenes and carry a deeper message for release on Video and DVD.

Co-operation
To distribute quality Cult and Art House movies from all over the world, Art-S Home Entertainment works in collaboration with the”Film museum Amsterdam”. Art-S Home Entertainment also cooperates with the “International Film Festival of Rotterdam” , RCV, and some television companies. Therefore movies from Iran to Japan and from Scorsese to Chabrol find their way to the consumer in the Benelux.

Distribution
Art-S Home Entertainment has a wide range of distribution channels in the Benelux. Not only regular outlets such as video stores and department stores, but also mail order and Internet companies, and non-traditional stores such as supermarkets and Gas stations.

The Future??
For the near future Rob Arts has a lot of plans. His main goal will be a healthy growth in all three areas and always be on top of new technological developments.
